It is raining today and I was all set to bury my nose in my sock doll craft but Rob gently reminded me that I'm falling behind with posting here. It's been well over a month since a travel post.
Many of the places we stop at have no Internet access and then when I do go through a town that has coverage, I really don't have much motivation or inclination to stop and write up a post.
In addition, I don't seem to get many people leaving comments, mainly just from one faithful friend here and a loyal blogger friend from America.
Now if the reason is because people don't find this blog interesting, well fair enough, that's that.
BUT it would be nice if those who are interested were to just drop a couple of words in the comments to let me know that they are at least reading the blog. It would mean so much to me. It can be rather hard to remain enthusiastic about keeping the blog upto date if one wonders if it is a waste of time.
Sorry for the rant. I've got that out of my system and now I feel so much better. Hopefully it will encourage you to pop a word in the comments below. You don't have to join anything at all to leave a comment, so PLEASE leave me a comment at least every few visits!

We stropped by to read about you there, down under. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It is nice to see that someone actually reads this blog.
DeleteMichelle the first thing you have to realize is that Blogs, Ledgers or Diaries are meant for our own recollection of things we have done. By posting it online we may choose to keep it personal, share with select individuals or as most do share for the world to see that we are not just sitting on our backsides wasting away.
ReplyDeleteI apologize for not having commented as of late but dealing with life and technical issues tends to be a thief of time. I read each of your posts even when you are not traveling but in order to safe what little time I have to spare. Any of the Blogs on our sidebar that update I personally read so again to save time I slip by unnoticed by not leaving comments. When life affords me time I will gladly be more involved with comments.
Many people that follow RV related posts do so because they themselves can only dream of such a life for a number of different reasons.
Keep your chin up and think how you are making someone else's day by writing about your days if it includes something as mundane as doing the laundry.
Your winter destination sounds like what we are looking forward to doing once again this year.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
As I also have a Facebook page, it is much easier and simpler to write brief bits n bobs along with selected photos on that. The writing and posting photos on Blogger does take up a lot more time as you know. You are one of my most prolific comment makers on my blog. I thank you for your support and encouragement!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed every word so can't wait to meet you guys, I get the feeling we have so much in common.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouragement. It would be terrific if we could meet! Sorry I didn't reply sooner, somehow I missed you comment! We are back on the road in Victoria at the moment and then we head off to Qld as winter sets in. Let us know if we come within a couple of hours of you anywhere!
